Akpeko Gasonoo, PhD
Dr. Akpeko Gasonoo brings over a decade of expertise in electronics engineering, with a specialized focus on printed electronics and electronic devices. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in the field and has led multidisciplinary teams in advancing cutting-edge technologies. As CEO and co-founder of PrintedSUN, Akpeko is driving the development of OLED-based technologies with the vision to create innovative, accessible solutions.

Setri Fugar, MD
Dr. Setri Fugar is an interventional cardiologist at Northwest Health Medical Center in LaPorte, Indiana, and a clinical researcher with a strong commitment to advancing patient-centered innovations. He completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he focused on cardiovascular interventions. As Co-founder and CMCO of PrintedSUN, Dr. Fugar bridges clinical insight with technology development, ensuring that the company’s OLED-based solutions are informed by real-world medical needs and grounded in scientific rigor.

Zahra Syeda, MBA
Zahra is an experienced strategist with a background in marketing, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement. She holds an MBA from the Haskayne School of Business and has led cross-functional initiatives in both public and private sectors. As COO of PrintedSUN, Zahra drives operational strategy, go-to-market planning, and partnerships to support the company’s mission of delivering impactful, scalable OLED-based solutions.

Dr. Greg Welch
Dr. Greg Welch is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Calgary and a leading expert in advanced materials and optoelectronic systems. He holds the UCalgary Research Excellence Chair and is a Parex Innovation Fellow, recognized for his groundbreaking work in sustainable electronics. As co-founder of CKGW Consulting Inc., Dr. Welch brings deep scientific insight and strategic guidance to PrintedSUN’s R&D efforts, supporting the development of novel OLED-based technologies.

Dr. Mario Leclerc
Dr. Mario Leclerc is a Professor of Chemistry at Université Laval and a globally recognized leader in polymer science. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Electroactive and Photoactive Polymers and was awarded the prestigious Killam Research Fellowship in 2014. A prolific researcher and innovator, Dr. Leclerc serves on the International Advisory Boards of Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics, Macromolecular Rapid Communications, and Advanced Functional Materials. As Technical Advisor to PrintedSUN, he provides expert guidance on polymer-based materials and scalable photonic applications.

Dr. Douglas McMillan, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Douglas McMillan is Professor Emeritus in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Dalhousie University and a leading authority in neonatal care. He completed fellowships in Pediatric Pulmonary Disease and Neonatology at the University of California Medical Center and has dedicated his career to advancing outcomes for vulnerable newborns. As Director of the Canadian Neonatal Foundation, Dr. McMillan continues to shape national standards in neonatal health. At PrintedSUN, he serves as Medical Advisor, ensuring clinical relevance and safety in the development of neonatal applications for OLED-based technologies.
